Helicopter Inspection

Using the laser radar scanning system mounted on the helicopter platform, high-density, high-precision lidar point cloud and optical image data on the high-voltage transmission line can be obtained. Realize the true three-dimensional modeling of the transmission line body and its surrounding environment, and carry out high-precision three-dimensional space measurement, simulation analysis and channel visualization management.
Integrate a variety of sensors such as laser scanners, inertial navigators, digital cameras, data loggers, and weather sensors to quickly acquire laser point clouds, image data, and weather data of transmission line equipment and corridors.

Energy storage platform

In order to solve the short-running problem of UAV, an energy storage platform based on the principle of online energy-taking is proposed.

  • Energy is stored in a variety of ways, and the electrical energy is stored in the battery of the energy storage platform.
  • The transmission line tower is equipped with a charging platform. The functions include: energy harvesting and energy storage, UAV charging,UAV take-off and landing, monitoring data receiving and transmitting, and ground communication.
  • It adopts industrial-grade UAV, with high degree of flight control and hardware stability, realizes automatic lifting and lowering on the charging platform, and patrols according to the planned route. It is equipped with high-definition cameras, infrared instruments, ultraviolet instruments and other testing equipments for inspection, and transmit data to the ground monitoring center.

Data analysis system

According to the condition of inspection tower and the transmission line, the size of the image that the UAV needs to shoot for each base tower is 45~50MB, and the data volume of one gear is about 120~130MB. Simply transmitted to the ground by UAV, subject to signal and network speed constraints, low efficiency.

When the UAV is charging on the platform, the data is transmitted to the platform, and then the platform transmits the data back to the monitoring center through the wireless base station established on the ground.
