High-voltage cables, as the blood of the city, provide the energy needed for city life. Once a cable fails, the impact on city life is immeasurable. With the rapid expansion of the size of the power grid and the rapid growth of demand for electricity, society has become increasingly demanding of the reliability of grid power supply. As an important part of condition maintenance, the comprehensive and in-depth application of power equipment live detection (on-line monitoring) technology can timely find hidden dangers of potential operation of power equipment and avoid sudden failures, which is an important guarantee for the safe and stable operation of power equipment. At present, the main detection technologies include partial discharge detection, infrared detection, and ground current detection. It has short-term detection when it is charged, which is different from long-term continuous online monitoring. It has the characteristics of small investment and quick results. Among them, infrared temperature measurement and circulating current detection are widely used. The difficulty in interpreting the results of partial discharge detection technology and the strong professionalism limit the application.
In order to improve the safety of high-voltage cable maintenance and provide a variety of cable live detection methods, it is planned to integrate intelligent monitoring modules on the basis of cable hardware to form intelligent hardware.
The intelligent monitoring module is composed of an electronic detection circuit, which can detect and indicate the charging condition and surface temperature of the cable. The module has the function of energy collection and storage, and can work independently for a long time, reducing the operation and maintenance workload. The module is inserted into the cable fittings in a plug-in manner, which is easy to replace without damaging the electromechanical performance of the original fittings.
Product system architecture
The entire system of the intelligent hardware monitoring module is composed of an energy collection module, a lithium energy storage module, a level conversion module, a live detection module, a temperature detection module, a signal conversion module, a signal processing module, and an instruction output module.

Intelligent hardware function description
When the cable current is 0-25A, the system energy is supplied by the lithium battery, and the system power consumption is 4mW at this time. If the cable current is in the 0-25A state for a long time, the system can work independently for 150 days. At this time, in the signal indicating circuit of the system, the green indicator light is always on. At this time, the system energy supply diagram is shown in the figure.
When the cable current is between 25A-120A, the energy of the system is supplied by the lithium battery, and the power consumption of the system is 22mW at this time. If the cable current is in the state of 25A-120A for a long time, the system can work independently for 28 days. At this time, in the signal indicating circuit of the system, the green indicator light is off, the red indicator light is flashing, and the frequency of the red indicator light flashing increases with the temperature of the cable.
When the cable current is 120A-400A, the system energy is taken by the cable power module, and the system power consumption is 35mW at this time. The cable energy taking module not only supplies system energy but also charges and stores energy for the lithium battery. If the cable current is in the state of 120A-400A for a long time, the system can work for a long time. At this time, in the signal indicating circuit of the system, the green indicator light is off, the red indicator light is flashing, and the frequency of the red indicator light flashing increases with the temperature of the cable.
Put a cable on the magnetic ring and wrap a layer of black electrical insulation tape at the joint of the core cross section.
